The ZR-YJV22 3-core 8.7~15kV cable is a flame-retardant steel-bonded armored power cable specially designed for medium-voltage distribution systems. The "ZR" in its model indicates the flame-retardant performance in accordance with the GB/T 18380 standard (default C grade), "YJ" represents the cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation layer, "V" stands for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer sheath, "22" indicates a double-layer steel-bonded structure (inner layer of galvanized steel strip + outer layer of PVC sheath encapsulated), and "3 cores" indicates that the cable contains three independent conductors, with a rated voltage of 8.7/15kV (phase voltage / line voltage). It is suitable for power transmission and distribution systems under power frequency alternating current. The conductors of this cable are made of high-purity oxygen-free copper (purity ≥ 99.99%), with a cross-sectional area ranging from 25 to 400mm², a conductivity rate of over 97% IACS, and a DC resistance lower than the standard stipulated in GB/T 3956. The insulation layer is a chemical cross-linked polyethylene material, with a thickness in accordance with the GB/T 12706.2 standard (nominal thickness 4.5mm), a long-term working temperature of 90ºC, a short-time overload temperature of up to 130ºC, a breakdown field strength of ≥ 30kV/mm, and a dielectric loss tangent value tanδ ≤ 0.0004 (50Hz, 20ºC). The armor layer is formed by spiral winding of two layers of galvanized steel strips, providing a radial compressive strength of ≥ 500N/mm², which can resist external mechanical impact and soil pressure. The outer sheath is made of flame-retardant PVC material, with an oxygen index of ≥ 32, and has moisture-proof and acid-base corrosion resistance (no cracking after 1000 hours of salt spray test). In terms of electrical performance, the power frequency withstand voltage test of this cable reaches 25kV/5min (higher than the rated voltage by 1.73 times), the local discharge quantity is ≤ 10pC (1.73U0 voltage), the insulation resistance is ≥ 1000MΩ·km (20ºC), and it can withstand 250ºC high temperature for 5 seconds during a short circuit. The structural design complies with the GB/T 12706.2 standard, with a single-core cable bending radius of ≥ 15D (D is the cable outer diameter), and a three-core overall bending radius of ≥ 20D, suitable for laying methods such as tunnels, cable trenches, and direct burial. This product is widely used in urban distribution networks, industrial plant power distribution, high-rise building power transmission, and underground power supply in mines, especially in environments with high requirements for fire resistance and mechanical protection. Its flame-retardant property can effectively inhibit the spread of flames (compliant with the bundled combustion test C class requirements), the steel-bonded armor enhances the resistance to external force damage, ensuring stable operation under complex conditions. This cable meets the Chinese national standard (GB/T 12706) and IEC 60502-2 standards, and can provide higher flame-retardant grades such as ZA/zb/ZC, meeting the differentiated needs of different projects.
