The full name of WDZ-BYJ cable is "Low smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant copper core cross-linked polyethylene insulated wire". It is an environmentally friendly type of wire featuring a high-purity copper conductor as the core wire and a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation layer. Through a special process, it achieves low smoke, halogen-free and flame-retardant performance. Its core features include: the insulation material is processed by irradiation cross-linking technology, with a long-term working temperature up to 90ºC. Its current-carrying capacity is about 15% - 20% higher than that of traditional PVC insulated wires (such as BV wires). Moreover, it releases less smoke and no halogen toxic gases when burning, and complies with standards such as GB/T 19666 "General Rules for Flame-retardant and Fire-resistant Wires and Cables" and JB/T 10491. It has passed CCC certification. The rated voltage of this cable is 450/750V, and it is suitable for fixed installation in AC power systems. It is especially suitable for scenarios with high population density or strict fire safety requirements, such as high-rise buildings, hospitals, subways, and shopping malls. It can be used for lighting, power distribution, and smart home wiring. Compared with ordinary ZR-BV (flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride insulated) cables, WDZ-BYJ can reduce smoke toxicity and visual obstruction in fires, lower rescue difficulty, and has more stable insulation performance and a longer service life.
